Super Decathlon 1.2m PNP Overview
Pilots and instructors widely regard the Super Decathlon as one of the best aerobatic trainers in full-scale aviation. Its iconic design traces its roots back to the Aeronca Champ and Citabria, but was upgraded with inverted fuel and oil systems, plus a nearly symmetrical wing, to allow it to perform outside and inverted maneuvers with ease. The original E-flite® Decathlon RJG 1.2m quickly became known as one of the most capable, well-equipped, and easiest-to-fly models of the American aviation classic. Now it's available again with one of the most recognizable and iconic Super Decathlon trim and color schemes, featuring all the same great features and performance of the original and even more! Featuring the same friendly handling airfoil and wing design, it's capable of smooth sport flying for low-time and intermediate pilots to more aggressive aerobatic flying for experienced pilots, without the bad manners many other Super Decathlon models are known for. It features LED landing and navigation lights along with a variety of scale details to deliver an authentic flying experience.
