The Super Sonicwake 48 has a factory-installed Spektrum 8S brushless power system capable of producing 50+ mph speeds. Independent water-cooling systems for the motor and ESC keep your hard-working electronics at safe operating temperatures. Depending on which recommended LiPo battery option you use, you can maximize speed or extend run time. The innovative Pro Boat SSL (Strap, Slide, Lock) battery installation system lets you exchange packs in just a matter of seconds.
Despite its impressive size, those and other features make the Super Sonicwake 48 convenient to operate and easy to maintain. The thick ABS hull hangs tough through big jumps and rough waters. If the breakaway rudder strikes a rock or other hard object, it rotates up to minimize any hull or hardware damage. The canopy attaches with quick 1/4 turn latches, making it fast and easy to remove with no risk of stripping screws.
The Super Sonicwake 48 adds fresh graphics to the popular styling of the smaller Sonicwake. As it cuts through the water, underwater LEDs at the transom illuminate its wake with splashes of light. Day or night, this is the ultimate RC boating experience!
